Communicate professionally with a variety of stakeholders and manage public relations and event marketing.

This major prepares students for a career in event management. Students learn to plan, organise, and manage a diverse range of events including concerts, conferences, festivals, weddings, and sports events. The curriculum covers event design, project management, sound, financial and human resource management, logistics, public relations, communication, and the creation of detailed management and evaluation plans. Students also gain valuable practical experience through work integrated learning and can include courses from related disciplines such as business, hospitality, tourism, psychology, and languages.
