What You're Signing Up For
This one-year, full-time certificate equips students with specialist skills in beauty therapy, including body and facial treatments, nail care, depilation, spray tanning, salon reception, and business skills. Learn from industry-experienced tutors in small classes, practicing treatments on real clients in a replica salon environment. Graduates are prepared for employment or further study in the beauty industry.

What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 including Level 1 literacy and numeracy with at least 12 credits in Level 1 science; or
Equivalent NZQF standards; or
NZ Certificate in Makeup and Skincare (Introduction) (Level 3); or
Equivalent knowledge, skills, work experience or study; or
WITT New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2) with CFS2.108 Health Careers Pathway (Human Biology) and achievement standard 91101.
Evidence of equivalent knowledge and skills gained through relevant life skills or work experience; or
Evidence of other study (formal or informal) at a level that demonstrates the potential to succeed at Level 4 of this programme.
