What You're Signing Up For

This programme offers year 12-13 secondary students an introduction to the hairdressing and beauty services industry. Students will learn practical salon skills, explore career pathways in hair and beauty, develop personal presentation, client service, communication, and employability skills. The course provides experience in fully equipped salons while working towards a nationally recognised NZQA qualification.

What you need to know first

Year 12 - 13 secondary school learners

NZ Citizens, permanent residents or eligible visa holders

Aged 16 years or over

Applications must be received from participating schools

English language proficiency if English is not your first language (IELTS or equivalent)
