Demonstrate knowledge of basic skincare and human biology
Understand the fundamentals of skincare, skin health, and related human biology to support beauty treatments.

Apply make-up techniques for various contexts
Practise and apply contemporary, historical, and creative make-up techniques.

Perform supervised beauty salon procedures
Conduct facials, manicures, pedicures, and brow shaping/tinting under supervision in a salon setting.
What You're Signing Up For
Designed for secondary school students, this course covers basic skincare, skin health, make-up techniques, beauty salon procedures (such as facials, manicures, pedicures, brow shaping, and tinting), the use of professional beauty products, and professional client communication. Students will undertake supervised salon activities and gain credits toward their education and future career in beauty therapy. There are a limited number of funded places available.
