What You're Signing Up For

The New Zealand Certificate in Beauty Therapy (Level 4) at Otago Polytechnic offers students the practical skills and knowledge necessary to start a career in beauty therapy. Optional International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) qualifications provide internationally recognized credentials. Graduates meet the requirements to become Registered New Zealand Beauty Therapists, with other career pathways including Cosmetic Representatives and Mobile Beauty Therapists.

What you need to know first

Must be at least 18 years old by programme end

Under 20 applicants require Level 3 or NCEA Level 2 with English and Science credits preferred, or equivalent

English language proficiency as per requirements including IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0
