What You're Signing Up For

The NZ Certificate in Commercial Barbering (Level 4) at EIT is a practical qualification designed to equip students with essential barbering skills and knowledge. All students gain hands-on experience working with clients in EIT’s commercial barber shop. What you need to know first

40 credits at NCEA Level 1, including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits

A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 or above

A recognised equivalent

Declaration of good health (no conditions precluding work with vulnerable clients)

Acceptable level of English language fluency (via study, NZCEL Level 3, IELTS 5.5 no band <5.0, accepted equivalents, or EIT assessment)
