What You're Signing Up For

This course offers a foundational introduction to the salon environment for Year 11–13 students, including industry practice, safety, image, client and salon support, communication skills, and preparation for employment. The programme enables students to earn NCEA credits and gain a New Zealand Certificate in Salon Skills (Introductory), with a focus on skills relevant to both hairdressing and beauty therapy roles. Delivered part-time while still at school, this qualification is ideal for those considering a career in the personal care industry or intending to pursue further study in this area.
