What you need to know first
10 NCEA Level 1 literacy credits
NCEA Level 1: 80 credits at Level 1, including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits
Equivalent secondary qualification assessed by Ara if not NCEA
Alternative entry via equivalent skills from work or study experience is possible
Applicants must be physically able to undertake practical components in a simulated industry environment
If English is not the applicant's first language: Overall IELTS 5.5 Academic with no band less than 5.0, or equivalent
