What You're Signing Up For

The Health Taster introduces students (Year 11 and above) to Wintec’s health and social practice fields. Participants learn about the study areas of nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, counseling, and social work. Students attend talks about each discipline and can experience two in-depth by engaging in discussions and practical skills labs. The programme also provides guidance on secondary school subject choices relevant for application to these pathways, as well as insight into student life at Wintec.
