The Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Arts Therapy at Whitecliffe is a one-year programme offering foundational training in the philosophy, skills, and theories of creative arts therapies. It combines 21 days of in-person weekend seminars with ongoing distance and online group tutorials. The diploma covers creative arts practice, research capacities, therapy theories, and practical group work, preparing graduates for employment in allied health, education, and community settings, or progression to Master's level study.
What you need to know first
Hold an undergraduate diploma or degree qualification (NZQF Level 7) or equivalent
Or: Demonstrated relevant field experience equivalent to an undergraduate qualification and ability to study at Level 8
