What you need to know first

NCEA Level 2 with passes in English/Te Reo Māori or equivalent

A minimum of 42 credits at NCEA Level 3

Certificate in Sterilising Technology (Level 3) (Open Polytechnic) or New Zealand Certificate in Sterilising Technology (Level 4), or equivalent

Access to the internet and to a sterilisation unit through employment or work experience
