Graduates are eligible for registration as medical laboratory scientists in New Zealand and can pursue careers in laboratory diagnostics or postgraduate studies in related fields. What you need to know first

Health Sciences First Year at University of Otago, including all prescribed papers

Alternatively, two or more years of university study (at least three papers at 200-level and not more than two failed papers post first year)

Graduate applicants require a previous bachelor's or higher degree with at least a B average

Alternative: degree from NZ/overseas university (minimum NZQF Level 7), or relevant health professional experience
