What You're Signing Up For
Study the Paramedicine major in AUT's Bachelor of Health Science to become a paramedic. You'll develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to provide high-level pre-hospital and out-of-hospital emergency care. The programme features extensive clinical placements, exposure to diverse healthcare environments, and learning from practising professionals in paramedicine and emergency services. Graduates meet the requirements to apply for paramedic registration in New Zealand and in several overseas jurisdictions.

Full clean driver's licence
Good level of physical fitness
Applicants with relevant ambulance, nursing or military qualifications may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning
