What You're Signing Up For
The Master of Medical Laboratory Science at AUT equips students with advanced knowledge and specialist skills in medical laboratory science. Students develop analytical, research, management, and contemporary practice abilities. The programme prepares registered medical laboratory scientists for leadership or advanced specialist roles by providing both management and specialist pathways, and requires the completion of a thesis. Graduates will be able to carry out research, critically analyse laboratory techniques, and contribute to health sector innovation.

Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ)
Current Practising Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MSCNZ)
