What You're Signing Up For
The Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) at AUT is one of the largest such programmes in the Southern Hemisphere. It prepares students to work as physiotherapists helping people overcome physical problems such as injury, disease, or ageing. The four-year degree covers human anatomy and physiology, clinical assessment, musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, acute and community care, and research skills. There is a significant focus on clinical experience, with students completing approximately 1,000 hours in clinical settings.

What you need to know first

Police clearance under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act) and Children’s Act 2014 requirements
