NCEA Level 2, including 30 credits in science (including chemistry), 10 literacy credits, and 10 numeracy credits OR New Zealand Diploma in Applied Science Level 5 or equivalent
Alternative entry for those with equivalent skills from study, work, or life experience
If English is not first language: IELTS 6.0 Academic (with no band lower than 5.5) or NZQA approved equivalent
