What You're Signing Up For

The course combines theoretical learning with practical experience, including electives in microbiology, chemistry, food and environmental sciences, a mandatory research project, and work placement. What you need to know first
Bachelor's degree in science relevant to this qualification gained within the last five years OR recent relevant experience.
If you do not meet academic requirements, equivalent skills for tertiary study gained through study, work and/or life experience may allow alternative entry.
English language proficiency: Overall IELTS 6.0 Academic with 6.5 Listening, 6.0 Reading, 6.0 Writing, 6.5 Speaking (or acceptable alternatives, see NZQA chart).
