Incorporate Tikanga Māori principles into holistic patient care and community health practices.

Undertake and Evaluate Clinical Practice

What You're Signing Up For
This diploma prepares students to deliver professional, person-centered healthcare and support in aged care, disability, and community settings, following Tikanga Māori principles. The program includes 300 hours of clinical placement, practical skills training, and gives graduates the expertise to work in various allied health roles across public, private, and non-profit sectors. The program is offered across AGI Education's Auckland City, Manukau, and Christchurch campuses.

- Manual handling techniques

- Evaluation of Healthcare practice
- Clinical placement: 300 hours (15 weeks, 24 hours/week)
What you need to know first
Must be at least 18 years old at the start of the programme.
Recommended to hold: Certificate in Healthcare Level 3 OR NCEA Level 2 or 3 OR other equivalent education OR appropriate work experience.
If English is a second language: IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0) or equivalent.
