This 15-week online certificate provides essential skills and knowledge for those seeking employment in retail pharmacies, focusing on non-dispensing roles under pharmacist supervision. Covering customer service, safe practice, legislation, pharmacy products and services, as well as first aid and retail operations. Includes a clinical placement in a retail pharmacy.

What you need to know first

At least 16 years of age at programme start date (domestic students)

8 credits at NCEA Level 1 in English (4 in reading, 4 in writing) or equivalent (domestic students)

Minimum of 3 years secondary education (domestic students)

No minimum academic requirements for applicants 20 years or older
