What You're Signing Up For

The New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4) is a one-year full-time program providing 120 credits. It is designed to build on Level 3 qualifications or equivalent experience and prepares students for apprenticeships, further study, or practical work in the aviation maintenance industry. The program covers essential engineering skills including tool use, materials handling, technical drawing, aviation safety and health regulations, mechanical and electrical fundamentals, and teamwork and communication in a high-tech environment. Block courses are offered for industry workers to upskill flexibly. Completion prepares students for further study or AMEL licence training.
