What You're Signing Up For
Waikato's Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcct) is designed for those who already hold a bachelor's degree in a different field and seek to transition into a professional accounting career. This intensive, internationally recognized programme covers key areas of accounting, finance, law, economics, and business, and is accredited by major global accounting bodies. Students can opt for a 12-month 180-point degree or a 21-23 month, 240-point Chartered Accountancy pathway, with the potential to complete the CA Program while studying. The course develops advanced technical and applied skills for a variety of accounting and leadership roles, making graduates attractive to top employers, including the 'Big Four'.
