What You're Signing Up For
The Bachelor of Accounting at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology prepares students for rewarding careers as accounting professionals. Through active and applied learning in small classes, students will gain comprehensive knowledge of accounting systems, financial management, economics, tax, audit and assurance, accounting information systems, and business law. The programme is accredited as a pathway to membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and CPA Australia. In the final year, students undertake a professional project in a real business environment, gaining valuable work experience.

What you need to know first
NCEA Level 3 with 3 subjects at Level 3 (14 credits in each of 3 approved subjects)
10 credits at Level 2 or above in literacy (5 in reading, 5 in writing)
10 credits at Level 1 or above in numeracy (specified achievement or unit standards 26623, 26626, 26627)
University Entrance as specified by NZQA, or equivalent for international students
Applicants aged 20+ without University Entrance may be admitted based on ability to complete requirements
