This course offers practical experience within the sport and recreation and tourism industry. Students will identify and apply professional skills, attitudes and behaviours essential for effective organizations, managers, and staff in these sectors. The course involves applying theoretical knowledge to real workplace experiences, critical reflection, and the application of management, planning, communication, educational, and research skills specific to sport and recreation settings. Interpersonal and time management skills will also be developed.
