This course offers insights into the processes involved in the development and implementation of policy and professional services across the recreation, sport, tourism and social sectors. You’ll learn about key concepts for policy-makers, characteristics of professionalism, and how policy is developed and implemented at different levels. The course also covers government and local authority decision-making processes and how policy outcomes are influenced, as well as methods for assessing the impacts of policy decisions.
