The Creative Practice: Popular Music specialisation develops your songwriting, performance and production skills while deepening your understanding of the creative industries. You will collaborate with fellow musicians, compose, record and perform solo and in groups, and gain regular live performance experience at notable Auckland venues. This specialisation prepares students primarily to become performers with secondary career opportunities in teaching, arts administration, producing, journalism, and event management.
