The UCOL Academy Performing Arts programme helps secondary school learners build awareness and understanding of Māori performing arts. Students develop the knowledge, technique, and artistic skills to perform competitively and creatively in disciplines such as kapa haka, waiata, and poi. The course is delivered in partnership with schools and is suitable as an introductory step towards a performance career.

What you need to know first

Year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ Citizens, permanent residents, or learners with a visa allowing secondary enrollment)
