Wintec's Nursing programmes prepare students to become enrolled or registered nurses through a combination of theoretical studies and practical placements. Students gain knowledge in nursing, social sciences, anatomy and physiology, and skills in clinical environments. Career pathways include registered nurses working across diverse health settings, enrolled nurses delivering care under supervision, and advanced nursing roles for postgraduates such as nurse educators and practitioners. Multiple programmes are offered, including Bachelor of Nursing (Level 7), Enrolled Nursing (Level 5), Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration, Level 9), and postgraduate certificates and diplomas for career advancement. Practical placements involve real healthcare workplace experiences to apply learning effectively. Fees vary per programme, with first year bachelor and master programmes costing $8,508 NZD per year, enrolled nursing $8,508 for 18 months, and foundation certificate at $3,890 per semester.
