QMET 201 - Biometrics introduces students to the principles and practice of good experimental design and statistical analysis for biological data. The course covers appropriate use of software packages (Excel, Minitab) for data visualisation, numerical summaries, statistical analysis, and reporting. Students will develop skills in identifying suitable statistical methods, interpreting scientific literature, and designing studies.
