What You're Signing Up For

The Prepare and Bake Basic Breads Taster provides secondary students (Year 11 and above) with hands-on exposure to the basics of bread baking in a commercial kitchen. Over four weekly sessions, participants will mix, shape, and bake a variety of breads while gaining an understanding of professional bakery environments and student life at Wintec. This course serves as a practical introduction to the baking and culinary industry.

What you need to know first

Enrolled in Year 11 or above at a secondary school

Bookings must be made through school careers advisor

Appropriate dress code for kitchen (long pants, covered shoes, hair tied back, no jewellery)

Student KAMAR printout and NSN number required
