What You're Signing Up For
The WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines course gives students an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing wine production worldwide, comprehensive tasting practice, and the analytical skills to assess and describe wine. Delivered on campus over 8 sessions across 4 weekends, it covers all major wine styles, the science and art of winemaking, and hones the palates of wine enthusiasts and professionals. The course prepares students for the WSET assessment via practice exam and tasting days and is suitable for both general interest and those pursuing hospitality, wine, or beverage-industry careers.

What you need to know first
Aged 18 or over
English requirements: NCEA Level 3, IELTS 7 or Advanced (C1) level or higher
It is recommended that you hold the WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines
