Work as a barista at speed
Develop the ability to prepare cafe-style drinks quickly and efficiently, suitable for employment settings.

Prepare beverages using alternative milks
Gain practical experience making coffee with soy, oat, and almond milks.

Produce flavoured coffees and multiple drinks
Learn techniques to make a range of coffees including flavoured varieties, and pour several drinks from one milk jug.
What You're Signing Up For
Barista Part Two builds upon skills from Barista Part 1, focusing on working at speed, preparing drinks with various alternative milks (soy, oat, and almond), and giving an introduction to latte art. Over two evening sessions, students receive individual feedback in small class sizes, practicing advanced techniques for café employment. A certificate of attendance is awarded upon completion.

What you need to know first
Completed Barista Part 1, School Holiday Barista or Micro-Credential in Barista & Service Skills
Aged 16 or over
English Language Recommendations: NCEA Level 2 or IELTS 5.5
