The BMC403 Bar Managers Course at NMIT is designed for those who want to develop the knowledge and skills required to obtain a Manager's Certificate for licensed premises in New Zealand. The course covers host responsibilities, the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, and prepares students to apply for their Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ). Upon completion, students receive NZQA unit standards and the qualification needed to take on bar management responsibilities.

What you need to know first

Must be 18 years of age or over to enrol.

Must be 20 years or over to hold a Bar Manager's Certificate.
