The degree emphasises bi-cultural contexts, New Zealand Treaty of Waitangi obligations, and professional ethics, equipping graduates for roles in commercial, iwi-owned, and government organisations.

  • Research skills and techniques for sustainable tourism challenges
  • Bi-cultural contexts of sustainable tourism planning and development
  • Management of tourism development through policy and planning models
  • Professional ethics, conduct, and sensitivity to gender, ethnicity and equity issues
