Successfully completed 10 years of schooling

Completion of New Zealand Certificate in Cookery Level 4 or equivalent

Currently working in the culinary industry

Able to do a minimum of 70 hours in a commercial kitchen in a supervisory position

Fluent in English (reading and communication)

Access to internet, email, scanner, printer, and digital photographic device

Access to a reasonably well-equipped kitchen

Computer literate (able to upload/download documents and media)

Able to travel to an examination centre for final exams
