What You're Signing Up For

This NZQA Level 3 programme at EIT introduces students to hands-on baking in a real-world environment. Students gain practical experience in a commercial bakery and a café, develop foundational and advanced bakery skills, learn to work as part of a team, and build industry connections. The timetable allows for concurrent employment in the industry. Graduates are prepared for roles in bakery operations or further study in baking or cookery.

What you need to know first

NCEA Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy requirements (automatic acceptance if numbers allow)

Applicants without NCEA may be accepted with an up-to-date CV or personal declaration showing potential to succeed

Interview may be required if potential to succeed is not initially demonstrated.
