What You're Signing Up For

The Horticulture and Arboriculture Taster is an entry-level, hands-on course for Year 11 and above, providing students with the opportunity to experience career areas in horticulture and arboriculture. Students will explore Hamilton Gardens, learn industry fundamentals, participate in a horticulture orienteering challenge identifying rare trees and shrubs, and get an introduction to arborist techniques such as tree maintenance and climbing using professional equipment. The experience is designed as an introduction to pathways in the horticulture and arboriculture sectors.
