What You're Signing Up For

Students will plan, shoot and edit a three-minute video production of their choice (e.g., music video, short comedy/drama, or short documentary). The course is an ideal introduction for those interested in careers in film, video, or media, as well as a pathway into SIT's Bachelor of Screen Arts in Film. This STAR course is only available to secondary school students via their school's nominated STAR or Gateway coordinator.

Course Content

  • Plan, shoot, and edit a three-minute video production
  • US10353: Shoot material for a production with a moving image camera (Level 2, 5 credits)
  • US29772: Manage files and folders using digital devices (Level 2, 2 credits)
